Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is an organization for regional economic cooperation, created against the backdrop of growing interdependence of countries in the Asia-Pacific region. 

The 21 economies in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) are: Australia, Brunei, Vietnam, Hong Kong (SAR of China), Indonesia, Canada, China, **South Korea**, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, **Russia**, Singapore, USA, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Chile, and Japan.

In 2025, the summit will be held in Gyeongju, Korea.

Due to the event, if you are entering Korea for a short stay on visas B-1, B-2, C-1, C-3, C-4 from October 24, you will need to provide your passport details upon request from the accommodation operator.
Accommodation operators in Busan, Daegu, Ulsan (metropolitan cities), Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces will need to register short-term foreign visitors via the website kstay.hikorea.go.kr or the mobile application "Foreigner Accommodation Reporting" within 12 hours.
