Statement
requesting assistance in finding a blood donor
Dear employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I am writing to you with a request for urgent assistance.
My younger brother, Zhenis Kazbek, is in critical condition at Konkuk University Medical Center in Seoul. After a course of intensive treatment, his immunity is almost completely weakened. Doctors have diagnosed sepsis, and an urgent blood transfusion of group B- is now required.
Unfortunately, this blood group is extremely rare, especially in Korea. Currently, it is impossible to find suitable blood in any of the blood centers. We are facing a life threat due to a lack of time and resources.
I ask you to:
Help disseminate information among the Kazakh diaspora in Korea;
If possible, publish an appeal on social media and embassy communities;
Assist in informing potential donors with blood group B- or O- (Rh negative).
