We all know the viral Netflix series Squid Game💗 After the release of Season 3 on June 27, 2025, in Seoul from June 29 - July 6 between 14:00 - 20:00, you could participate and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the game in real life.
At the game exhibition, there were several locations for photos, a small exhibition of Netflix series, and of course, you could play games from your favorite show!
- 1. Ddakji (딱지) Game. You had to find the man in the suit with a suitcase, but it wasn't difficult because there were always many people around him hahahaha. If you were chosen, you were given 3 attempts to flip the square. If you won ⭕️, they gave you a card to receive a prize, and if you lost ❌, they gave a consolation prize too (for the game, I received traditional Korean cookies Yakgwa (약과))
- 2. Another interesting game for exhibition visitors was conducted by Mr. 🟥
He chose people for the upcoming game; unfortunately, I only managed to be a spectator, and then he divided them into teams. The first game was jump rope—let's say a smaller and simplified version for children—and the second game where they divided into teams was Ddakji (딱지) and Biseokchigi (비석치기). The first person plays Ddakji, and the second player plays Biseokchigi. Everything was also done in the form of a small performance. It was very cute and interesting.
- 3. And the most global game of the season and the exhibition, in my opinion, is Jump Rope (줄넘기). Many people wanted to participate in this game. First, you had to stand in a simply huge queue. We thought that afterward, we would be able to play immediately, but it turned out that it was only registration where they give you a number😅. We registered and received a number over 100, I don't remember exactly which one. We registered by phone number, and the waiting time was more than 3.5 hours. On the last day, the game went until 21:00, apparently, that's why we got lucky and were able to jump like "Squid Game" participants. The rules were explained in Korean, but if there were participants who didn't speak Korean, the rules were explained in English. Also, many workers at all locations could speak English and answer questions. 1st round: trial. 2nd round: jump 15 times. 3rd round: jump + jump with a turn + jump after which you need to crouch and touch the ground. Some guys also jumped on 1 leg afterward, but I'm not sure if that's part of the rules. For participation, they gave cards to receive a prize, and participants who won received a special card for an additional prize.
Receiving Prizes 🎁
You had to go to the pickup area and show your card. Then you are asked to pull out a random ball (they were blue 🔵 and red 🔴). I got 2 keychains; you can hang them on a bag or set them up as an acrylic figurine. For a well-executed jumping task, in our opinion, we received a shopper bag, a box of cookies, and a QR code to download the game; a code was also attached, but we haven't checked the game yet. We all know the viral Netflix series Squid Game. After the release of season 3 on June 27, 2025, there was a special real-life event in Seoul from June 29 to July 6, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where you could actually experience the game atmosphere in person!
At the event, there were several photo zones, a small exhibition featuring various Netflix series, and of course, real games from the beloved show!
1. Ddakji (딱지) Game
To play, you had to find the man in the suit with a suitcase — which wasn’t too hard, because there was always a crowd around him, haha. If you were chosen, you got 3 chances to flip over the square. If you succeeded, you received a prize card, and even if you lost, you got a consolation prize.
(For this game, I got traditional Korean cookies called Yakgwa (약과)! 🥰)
2. Another fun game by the 🟥 Man
This mysterious character chose people to join the upcoming games — unfortunately, I only got to be a spectator. He divided the participants into teams.

We registered using our phone numbers and received a number over 100 (can’t remember the exact one). The waiting time was over 3.5 hours!
On the last day, the game ran until 9 PM — so luckily, we made it in and got to jump just like the Squid Game contestants!
The rules were explained in Korean, but if there were any non-Korean speakers, they also gave instructions in English. Many of the staff at all stations spoke English too and were helpful with questions.
Rounds:
• Round 1: Practice
• Round 2: Jump 15 times
• Round 3: Jump + twist jump + squat down and touch the ground after a jump
Some people even jumped on one foot afterward, but I’m not sure if that was part of the official rules.
For participating, everyone received a prize card, and the winners got a special card for an additional prize.
🎁 Prize Collection
You had to go to the prize zone and show your card. Then, you’d randomly draw a colored ball (they were red 🔴 or blue 🔵).
I got two keychains — you can hang them on your bag or display them like a mini acrylic figure.
For completing the jump rope challenge (which we thought we did pretty well 😄), we got a tote bag, a box of cookies, and a QR code to download a game — plus a special code (we haven’t tried the game yet though).
