SMS about a toll road: notification or scam?

Hello, could you tell me—as I understand it, this is a notification for a toll road bill? It's just my first time receiving a message like this via Kakao instead of by mail. It's a bit concerning that they're asking to enter a bank account... if you know anything, please comment photo_2026-02-11_08-39-13 (1).jpg

    Hello!
Yes, this is a notification regarding unpaid tolls (미납통행료) for the Sinwol-Yeouido Underground Road (신월여의지하도로). The operator of this road does indeed have a system where notifications and/or payment details are sent via KakaoTalk Electronic Document (카카오톡 전자문서) / Authentication Talk (인증톡).
Based on the screenshot, you can verify that the message came from an official distribution list.
There is a checkmark at the top, and a "какао" icon on the right. Therefore, you don't need to worry, and it is advisable to pay the toll; the fee will be higher upon a second notification.
If you use a Hi-pass card, you may have had insufficient funds on the card; if you do not use such a card, then the toll for the road was simply not paid, and you can pay it online.

Thank you. So, does that mean the letter won't arrive by mail in this case?

If you don't pay, they might send it~ But it's more convenient to pay online, in case you see the letter too late~
